We are happy to announce that the Nordic Statistics Database has been updated again, for the tenth and last time in 2024. The next update is scheduled for mid-February.

Some examples of what has been added:

In KEY02, Q3 values on Employment rate and NEET-rate are complete, and values on Economic growth rate are starting to come in. In KEY03 , October values on Inflation and Unemployment rates are almost complete, as are August values on Import and Export. Visualized data can be found in the dashboard on the Current economic state. LABO10 has also been updated, with Q3 values on Share of temporary employees.

A lot of the Our Vision 2030 indicators also have new values, for example COMP31 on Expenditure on research and development, COMP52 on Intra-Nordic foreign trade and SOSU12 on Self-rated health. A visualization of all vision indicators, updated with the latest data available, can be found in the Vision indicator dashboard.

Eurostat has also updated a lot of our source matrices with 2023 data. Under Environment and energy, see for example EMIS14 on Air emissions accounts, ENVAC02 on Environmental, economic and social key data, ENVAC03 on Emission of greenhouse gases from production of goods and services. Under Science, REDE01 on Expenditure on Research and Development and REDE04 on R&D staff, have both been updated with 2023 values, as have ENTP01 under Structural business statistics (values on number of enterprises).
