We are happy to announce that the Nordic Statistics Database has been updated.

Some examples of what has been added:

New, 2024 values, for Patent applications; filed and granted, can be found in PATE01 under Science and technology.

Under Prices, 2024 values on Price level indexes have been added to PRIC03.

In KEY01, annual Economic key-figures, 2024 values on GDP per capita, euro PPS are now in for all five large countires. In KEY02, quarterly economic key-figures, Q1 values for Economic growth, Employment rate and NEET rate are now all in. In KEY03, monthly economic key-figures, April values have started to come in for Imports and Exports and are all in for Unemployment rate. For Inflation rate, there is now a full set of May values. Visualized data can be found in the dashboard on the Current economic state.

There are updates in matrices under Demography, as 2024 values are continuing to come in. See for example CHIL01on Live births, POPU04 on Marriages and divorces, POPU09 on Population by degree of urbanisation, DEAT01 on Number of deaths and DEAT04 on Death rates.

There are also updates in matrices under Education, see EDUC03 on Number of students graduated by level, EDUC09 on Graduated students at tertiary level by field of education and EDUC14 Number of students by location of study. The closely related matrix PHDG02 Number of graduates at doctoral or equivalent has also been updated.

There are several updates on the Our Vision 2030 indicators. See for example COMP21 on Employment, COMP41 on Transport in buses and trains and GREE11 on Greenhouse gas emissions. You can find an overview of the vision indicators here.

Under Labour market, matrices LABO01 on Employed by activity, LABO07 on Time (hours) spent on housework outside work and LABO10 on Share of temporary employees now all have new values.
