November update 2025

Release

We are happy to announce that the Nordic Statistics Database has been updated.

Some examples of what has been added:

In KEY02, quarterly economic key-figures, Q3 values for Economic growth rate have started to come in. In KEY03, monthly economic key-figures, September values are all in for Unemployment rate, Inflation rate, Imports and Exports . Visualised data can be found in the dashboard on the Current economic state.

There are several updates on the Our Vision 2030 Indicators. See for example COMP31 on Expenditure on research and development, COMP33 on Digital public services for citizens, GRE33 on Ecolabelling licences and SOSU41 on Social trust

Under Business, Q2 values have been added to ENTP03 on New enterprise creations, and under Social integration and income, 2024 values are in for SOEX01: Expenditure on cash benefits and services, and also for PUBS10: General government revenue under Public finance/Taxes, for PUBS11: Total general government expenditure under Public finance/Public expenditure and for PUBS14 under Public finance/Government deficit and debt.

Under Integration and migration, all twelve matrices have been updated with more years  for Denmark and Sweden. We are looking forward to adding data for Iceland and more years for Finland and Norway before the end of the year. You can find visualised integration and migration data here.

The next update of the database is scheduled for the mid of December.

There has also been an update of the landing pages on Education and Nordic gender equality indicators. These pages now visualise the underlying matrices to a much greater extent than before. This makes the data more accessible to all users, and ready-made graphs with filter functions will hopefully simplify both use and analysis. Before the end of the year, new versions of the landing pages on Culture and Social Integration and Income will also be launched.
